METALURGICAL ANALYSIS

F G GROUP has independent internal laboratories. The laboratory analysis activities organized, planned and managed by the Quality team are complementary to the services offered and thanks to our sophisticated instruments, we are able to offer our Customers indications and assistance before and after the heat treatment.

The laboratory sector is equipped with:

quantometers for checking the chemical composition of steels
Metallographic optical microscopes with magnifications up to 1000x
SEM scanning electron microscope
automatic microdurometer for checking effective depth
Rockwell - Brinell - Vickers hardness testers (some qualified for the testing of parts dedicated to the aerospace sector and therefore NADCAP qualified)

METROLOGY

F G GROUP has a metrological laboratory, used for the control of temperature sensors and all the instruments suitable for the operation of the heat treatment plants both on the plant and in use in the departments

The verification of the instrumentation of the systems for the measurement of the various operating parameters (temperature, pressure, humidity, gas flows and time) and the controls such as TUS and SAT are performed periodically in relation to international standards, such as AMS 2750 as well as to standards Customer.
